Our B&B “IL MILLE” is located within a private house built in the early 60s, recently fully renovated. Located on the ground floor, you will enjoy 3 spacious and comfortable bedrooms, with private bathroom and equipped with refrigerator, sink, microwave oven and various crockery.
You’ll also have access to a studio with assorted books in various languages and PC workstations.

Where are we?
Our house is located in San Matteo Decima (Bo), on the Strada Statale 255, connecting Modena to Ferrara. The nearest town is the art city of Bologna, ancient medieval town, worldwide known, today a very important touristic and fair-trade district in Emilia-Romagna region. We are located in the middle of the Motor Valley (Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Ducati), and very close to Cento, hometown of the painter Giovanni Barbieri – known as Il Guercino.
The area is linked to main cities via busses and 3 train stations are just a few km away (San Giovanni in Persiceto, Crevalcore and San Pietro in Casale) connecting to several main cities like Verona, Bologna, Ferrara, Padova, Venezia and more.
Our B&B is in town centre, a stone’s throw from the school campus, Tennis Club, Football playground, bars and restaurants. The countryside behind our house is nowadays a frequent destination for relaxing walks and bird-watching.

It is the nearest town to our village, only 5 km.
It is the home-town of the famous painter Il Guercino and the Pinacoteca is exhibiting some of his works.
Cento is also very well-known for its Carnival, twinned with the Rio de Janeiro one.
The Motor Valley district has some of the most famous points of interest for fans of fast sport cars and motorbikes; that is LAMBORGHINI in Sant’Agata Bolognese, FERRARI in Maranello, MASERATI in Modena and DUCATI in Bologna.
